Montgomery County, PA

Please note that the Liberty Bell Trail is currently in the planning stage and, therefore, is not fully developed and available for use.  The public may only use sections of the trail that are identified on the maps in this web site as "open for use."  Other parts of the proposed trail not identified as such on the maps remain unimproved and under private ownership, and people passing through these lands would be trespassing.

The scope of the feasibility study stretches for 25 miles.  Approximately 15 miles pass through Montgomery County, while 10 miles are in Bucks County:

Montgomery County (9 municipalities):

• East Norriton Township
• Whitpain Township
• Upper Gwynedd Township
• Lansdale Borough
• Hatfield Township
• Hatfield Borough
• Franconia Township
• Souderton Borough
• Telford Borough (Note that Telford Borough is located in both Montgomery and Bucks counties.)

Bucks County (7 municipalities):

•   West Rockhill Township
•   Hilltown Township
•   Sellersville Borough
•   Perkasie Borough
•   East Rockhill Township
•   Richland Township
•   Quakertown Borough
