Trail access is available in Conshohocken at the current Schuylkill River Trail parking, including the SEPTA station parking facilities (evenings and weekends it is free for trail users), the parking lots at Ikea, Home Depot, and Metroplex. As the Trail is developed further east, access will be available at street crossings and at the Fort Washington State Park and SEPTA station at Fort Washington.
A major trail head facility with water, restrooms and picnic facilities will be available at the Fort Washington State Park. This park is a wonderful site and includes hiking trails, bird watching facilities, and group camping facilities.
