New Trail Development

Portions of the Cross County Trail are in place in Conshohocken and Plymouth Meeting.  In fact, you can ride or walk the trail as it passes Ikea, Home Depot, and the Metroplex shopping area along Chemical Road.  The trail now allows visitors to pass safely under Ridge Pike.
 
In 2007 the county opened the trail from its connection to the Schuylkill River Trail in Conshohocken to Metroplex in Plymouth Meeting.  One small section of trail will be completed for the connection to Germantown Pike in late 2008.
Visitors can now access the Plymouth Meeting area from the Schuylkill River Trail in Conshohocken.
 
Future development will involve trail development between Germantown Pike and Fort Washington for a connection to the Wissahickon Trail.  This development will occur in 2008.  Click here for a map of the Cross County Trail.  Click here for a map of the Cross County Trail.
