Construction has begun on a major project to extend the Green Lane Trail up the Route 29 hill from Green Lane Borough to the Green Lane Nature Center. When the work is completed in 2009, visitors will be able to walk, bike (mountain), or ride a horse all the way around the large Green Lane Reservoir. Construction of a culvert under SR 1037 (Hill Rd/Park Ave) will require a detour of pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The detour will most likely be in effect throughout summer 2009.
